Thank you for the question. That is something that you can ask directly to the hotel. Not sure if they have that option.

Greetings from Ireland, great video ! We are staying there in a few months. Was it safe and how was the beach? Did you just use Uber to get to the city ?

Hello and thank you for you comment and questions. Q)Was it safe? A)Absolutely. The hotel area is safe for sure. You can even walk to Leblon area from here Q)How was the beach? A)The beach was great with exception of the days with high wind advisory. As for the beach area, since locals use this too, just use caution with your belongings. The best thing will be to leave your belongings at the hotel pool or your room while using the beach. Other than that beautiful. Q)Transportation: Uber or others? A)I used Uber for the majority of my rides. But I also used Taxi at times. They were still relatively safe. Also the hotel provides a shuttle every hour to Leblon beach and also Leblon Mall.
