Great informative video. I heard all of the 1600 rooms were renovated in 2020, many other Waikiki hotels need a facelift. The Outrigger Reef is currently in the final months of their renovation. You can't go wrong with any of the main Waikiki Beach Hotels as long as you do your research beforehand and watch some videos like this one to make sure you know what you are in for. By the way, were the elevators slow, did you have to wait a long time.?

Thanks for watching! Yes I love to be informative! The elevators were not super slow. During busy periods there were wait times. I was on the 20th floor and a few times it seemed liked the elevators were just passing me by but it wasn't excessive. I am going to check out the Outrigger! Thanks for the tip!

Hi, I love your video! I’m going here in December but was wondering if the hotel offers any activities that are included in the “resort fee”?

They have activities... but they only allow a very, very small group of people to do them. They would not let me book them prior to coming. When I got there, they were already booked. They have Hula dancing, Lei making, water zumba, and yoga I think.. but I couldn't get into any of the activities.

The Sheraton Waikiki was wonderful. We had a ocean view room which was to die for, the sounds of the ocean were so calming. I found a wonderful spot by the koi pond to sit and read. It was a most relaxing trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you so much for your review, it was so helpful 😄🌺

this is where i want to stay. how warm was the water? and this is random however is the airport adequately staffed. some airports are very slow with long lines and not modernized.

@@6CRAN Yes, the ocean water is warm. The airport wasn't as updated as some airports but they had it very organized.

I gave myself a couple of hours at the airport and I barely made my flight. Getting through security, the line was out the door and almost he whole length of the terminal. Once you got through that line, you got stopped again for the agricultural line…..give yourself lots of time!!!

Nightlife, that I'm not sure of besides walking the waikiki strip. Many of the bars have live music. I have heard of a club, but i've never gone. for Luau, try Paradise Cove and the Polynesian Cultural Center for their Breath of Life show.

Hi great video! Do you know if you’re able to rent chairs or do they have beach chairs for the private beach? Or what accommodations are there at the beach it seemed small.. Hi Shannon, thank you. Okay you know the pathway I showed, that goes to the beach and also to the right of that private beach is more beach. There are chair rental companies and all type of rentals. In the hotel you can buy big floaties. Everyone uses them in the ocean and float like a tidal wave. It's fun. The big floaties are 15.99 to buy and they have them blown up. You can also do surf lessons with a company and canoes, etc. Book your excursions now and quick!

Sand is public land in Hawaii. That beach isn’t really private. The walkway ends and it’s a little wet to continue towards DeRussy. Pronunciation of some words a little off. Used to work Sheraton, Royal Hawaiian…Kyo Ya hotels years ago. Glad you had fun.
