STORYLINE:
After Scar was defeated, Simba banished Zira, Kovu, Vitani and their lionesses from the Pridelands. Simba and Nala had their first son, Kopa. Zira attacks Kopa and, thinking he is dead, lets him go... but after a while he wakes up and runs away from the Pridelands for fear of being killed. He arrives at the tree of life without food and weak where Queen Janna welcomes him. And so he spent his entire childhood with Rani and the Night Pride. Meanwhile in the pridelands Simba and Nala, shocked by the death of their son, had a daughter, Kiara, destined to become queen, and the youngest Kion who when he grows up will take Shere Khan's place as leader of the lion guard. Years pass and Scar returns spiritually in the form of fire, and devises a plan to kill the royal family at pride rock. The lionesses trap Shere Khan and the lion guard in the cave as Anga and Hadithi rescue Simba, Nala, Kiara and Kion from the burning king's cliff.
