Having worked in a prison on a few occasions, I can say with certainty he's going to lose more than his shoe laces. While I didn't lose mine, I had to leave my cell phone, pager and pocket knife out in my car and bring in only the tools I'd be needing. Those tools were then inventoried coming and going.

The data lost was not due to the individual agents, it was lost because of departmental incompetence (or intentional, I'm not saying it wasn't). Homeland Security & The Inspector General investigated this, and that was the finding. You certainly can't blame individual agents for following orders.

The Secret Service must be with Trump at all times during the process and wont allow him to be near any of the other inmates not associated with his case. The Secret Service, Homeland Security ultimately supersedes the sheriff in situations where the Secret Service must have control over the environment. Having said that, Trump will definately not be treated as any other county inmate as the Sheriff would have us believe.
