Hi there, as there is 6 exits, 5 not including the one you are approaching on, does this mean each of the three lanes is used for 2 of the exits. So first lane for either of the first two exits, second lane for 3rd and 4th exits etc. just unsure what lane to approach If it’s too busy to read road markings. Thanks again

Yes that’s correct, left lane for 1st & 2nd exit middle lane for 3rd & 4th and right lane for 5th exit although you could also use middle lane for 2nd exit provided you exit on the right hand lane onto the A720

@@PortobelloDriverTraining okay thanks, I had one more question as my test is next week. If you end up missing a speed limit sign on a road you haven’t been on before, what’s the best advice for working it out if there’s is infrequent signs? Thanks

@@joegreen5698 if you’re in a built up area with street lights and no speed limit sign you’re going to be in a 30 If you’re in a 20 or 40 it will have repeater signs

The worst designed roundabout in Scotland. This roundabout is a peek time traffic roundabout. There is 6 lanes in & out and travelling east to west in high peek time, you can wait in the mile plus long queue for ages. Further on heading towards the M8, in peek time, you can snail for miles due to rush hour traffic. There has been 10’s of thousands of new houses built along the A720 / A1 corridor. The volume of traffic is too much for these roads to handle. It must be costing the Scottish & U.K. economy, absolutely mega £millions a year through inefficiency.
