Also, seeing him all alone on the dance floor, looking at people all around and hoping someone would spot him [he gets so happy even as Janine sees him it's :( ] made me wish Mycroft had agreed to come! Sherlock possibly realized (by habit) that he would ultimately be alone in that crowd, and so he called the one person he knew would be there. Mycroft knew too, hence the "don't get involved, Sherlock." I wish people had proven Sherlock wrong, for once, made him feel that he belongs! :( Anyway, It makes me so happy how protective Mycroft is of his little brother, knowing what the world does to people who care too much. :')
