I can't imagine anyone else playing this duo. Usually, they have Watson be a blubbering fool in cinema, and Sherlock is just some nerd, these two give them more dignity but at the same time it gives them a more intelligent aspect.

Exactly why I hated the Will Ferrell film! It was bloody awful and make Holmes and Watson both appear like stupid idiots 🤦🏽‍♀️

Loved it at 7.50 when Downey says "Objectively I bet you can speak a little more about Mr.Fry" and they both smiled... Robert was obviously referring to the film that Jude and Stephen did together "Wilde" where they had to do some homosexual scenes...

my fav movie of recent yrs, i really like the way holmes was secretly miles ahead, even though his nemesis appears to have every advantage. also i'm a huge sherlock fan, and love moriarty's performance.

+Denzil Alphonse Or probably just really tired. Robert Downey Jr. personally refers to doing press tours and interviews as 'selling soap' (a term straight out of Fight Club), and it's generally a very tedious and exhausting period of rising early, answering the same questions 30 times a day and smiling at strangers with only a passing interest in the movie they spent a lot of time making. This looks like it's early in the morning and poor Jude hasn't quite activated yet.
