My dear viewers, I will ask you for a little attention. Unfortunately, lately I have seen that the number of viewers of videos about Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett has sharply decreased. I can only guess at the reasons for the decline in interest my videos dedicated to Jeremy. I won't list them. On a personal note, I wluld like to add that I do not have the techical capabilities or special programs to produce complex videos. I appeal to my regulal viewers and those who found my channel for the first time. Please take a moment to like vafter watching any video. Please subscribe to my channel if you like my work. I will be very grateful to you for this. Because I understand that if viewers have lost interest in my previous videos, then there is no point in releasing others. This video was the first version on the previous one. I tried to make it in another video editor. Unfortunately, this editor does not allow you to make videos in another format. This was my first time using a new video editor, so there were some techical mistakes made while editing the video.I apologize for some uneven sound reproduction. The same images and photographs where used in this video as in the previous one. There is another melody added at the end of this video that is not in the first video. This video has a different design, so it has a different format and a different length of time. Therefore, it is more convenient to view it on a smartphone or tablet. I had a really hard time editing this video. Therefore, despite some technical shortconings, I dedided not to delete it. Because this video was the original version of my idea.

Well ! May I confess a marked preference for this first version ? I'm surprised to read that it's longer than the previous one (since I generally like rather short durations) and appreciate the plain aspect of this one : the visual effects of the other "first" version are a little "too much" for me and too systematic maybe... This version really has something powerful. I can't explain my impression : it's as if this one was more about Jeremy, so to speak (due to a different balance between "JB pictures" and "non JB pictures" ?). Anyway, dear Jeremy is the hero of each version and it is that what matters ! Moreover, thank you for letting us see the divers states of your work ! Unfortunately, this time, I'm disappointed, for my expression in English doesn't make it to convey my impressions properly : my words poorly and inaccurately convey my them, 😓. It seems to me that I'm speaking like a demanding teacher whereas I would like to find a way to say my contentment before a mastered piece of work, and the real pleasure it brings me ! I hope, therefore, that you will be linient toward me, dear Friend Ksenia, 🙏 !

Dear Charlotte, thanks for you wonderful comment. This particular version was very difficult for me. When I started editing videos in the new editor, I saw that there was no ordinary format for You Tube. So I had to make two videos in different editors. I am sinserely glad that my work was not in vain. Because this particular video seemed to me unsuccessful due to the format and technical errors. Therefore, I doubted for a long time whether to publish it or delete it. I'm glad that it's more convenient for you to watch this particular video on your phone because of its format. Yes, I remember that you like to watch small clips. I try not to burden Jeremy's photos with additional images. Please don't worry about your no English writing style😊 Sometimes it is also inconvenient for me to convey my feelings or thoughts in another language. I always try to read your comments carefully several times. This video came out in a different design. I used a different style than the previous ones. The last part of this video also has piano music. Basically all photographs and images remain the the same as in the second version. Making this video was very difficult for me. It was the editing of this that exhausted me more than the others clips. Therefore, I am happy to know that you liked the original version more. You are certainly right, the main charactet in all my videos about Sherlock Holmes is our beloved, priceless Jeremy. Additional images serve only as ornamentation decoratiobs for the main plot of the video. With their help, it is much easier for me to convey the feelings and emotions that I put into each video. Not only did you not let doubts restrain or even stop your creative process, but you also overcame the unusual fatigue you experienced during the difficult genesis of this video. You have resisted this temptation mainly imbued, in my eyes, with negativity (vanity, pride, incapacity to deal with our earthly limits) to supress this vid. This is GOOD because I persist in thinking / feeling that not having it would have been a waste for you and a lost to us, viewers. Earlier this day, I was unable to say what I would have liked to about this "first version". Now, I can express more clearly what, in my view, emerges as important from it. I'm really glad to be able to watch it and its "sibling" in parallel, because it appears to me that each one has got an existence for / by itself. Indeed, I almost see two different universes in them : one ("the first version") has an atmosphere, a sort of depth without awkwardness (🇫🇷 : pesanteur), which happily reflects Jeremy's personality ; the other one his marked by poetry and creativity, which is typically your mark, dear Ksenia. That's why I congratulate you for having kept this film and for giving it publicity : you didn't act like a spoiled child, unhappy because it didn't get what it wanted, but like a mature artist* who takes the risk to submit a work to his audience eventhough s.he* considers it not completely finished and not entirely satisfactory. In one word, by this response to doubts and exhaustion, your conduct his very much "Jeremy-like" : both, trough difficulties, you chose and manifest honesty, mettle and humility... for the the greatest contentment of us all. ...which thankfully has a side effect : this leads us into endless conversations, doesn't it ?

It gives me pleasure to read your review of my work. Because your review reminded me in style of a small literary essay. I try not to delete work videos that I thought were not very successful. Fortunately, I am not a clasdic perfectionist; I do not strive to achieve an ideal result. You are right when you wrote that there were many creative people who destroyed their creations because of the desire for an ideal. I agree with you that if deleted the first version, I would devalue the work I put into the video. Jeremy achieved perfect result in his work on the role of Sherlock Holmes. According to the memories of his friends and colleagues, he was a perfectionist. Therefore, he was sincerely worried when he felt that this or that scene in the series turned out unsuccessful in his opinion. For example, he did not like the famous scene, when Holmes fell into a puddle and sat in the pouring rain. I am grateful to the director and producer that this scene was not removed from the episode. Because Jeremy, overcoming his suffering and severe deterioration in health, made the courageous decision to continue filming subsequent episodes. I am sincerely sorry that somewhere in the studio storage rooms there are recordings of the episode of Holmes in the beekeeper suit. "This world is comical for those who think, and tragic for those who feel"(quotes John Irving). Jeremy had a very sensitive perseption of the world. Gradually I realized why I love Jeremy so much. Love is a reaction to values. I fell in love with Jeremy's sence of life, with the sum of all that was dear to him, with the fundamental position or view of being that constituted the essence of his personality. Perhaps I wrote it too complicated. Each person has his own world, his own space inside.
