Subtle detail at 1:43 when Holmes is pouring tea, he's actually pouring with an "assassin's teapot." Note the way his fingers change slightly when pouring between his drink and Irene's. He's covering a small hole on top to allow the secondary area to pour instead, with something most likely to neutralize Irene so he can get answers out of her. However, Irene being one step ahead of Holmes, takes the cup he poured for himself. That's why he sniffs his cup and proceeds to not drink from it.

Sherlock is wiping his face, Watson isn't asking about Irene, but is instead already making fun of Sherlock about their past encounter rather than being stressed about this new one. He's in a chair reading the paper, as if he's been sitting there for a while, and when Sherlock goes to show him the letter, Watson says he's already read it, which he couldn't have had time for if he'd entered the room a few seconds ago. They place hints so that some viewers will realise Sherlock was the man who bumped into the carriage before they reveal it.

Starting at 3:26, they dubbed over the original voice with Moriarity’s voice from Game of Shadows~ nice touch to keep consistency! 👍🏼

The hair, the makeup, the dress. She is stunningly beautiful, and a thief.

2 things that the second movie did not use: Adler's necklace, the maharaja missing diamond, taken by Sherlock towards the end of the first movie was gifted to Watson and Mary's wedding as the new ring after it was lost in the tussle looking for the red headed little person. second; Moriarty did not at all use his mini gun in his sleeve. I am very curious as to why he even had it in this movie but not at all in the second. I was hoping he would have used it during the final fight after the chess game. MMMMM i love this movie. everything is so intense and extrospective--for a lack of a better word.

1) I don't think the ring is that relevant in the 2nd movie. Irene was barely in it 2) Moriaty has no use for it in the 2nd movie. Most of the time when facing Holmes he almost never uses a gun. Also a deringer gun is useless outside of point blank

in the story written by Arthur Conan Doyle, Holmes had 4 times failed in his mission 3 men and 1 woman. the woman was Irene Adler and therefore Holmes admired her intelligence.

So... in a way, Irene is like Catwoman to Sherlock's Batman. Interesting!
