Yeah, it happened to me too. Pretty frustrating and I never found a solution. Saving is totally random, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

The full game soundtrack was uploaded few years ago on youtube and it was almost an hour long or 50 minutes. But of course it is now deleted thanks to youtube. If anybody knows what I'm talking about, the video also had in its description a long list of the titles of each track. I find it an interesting juxtaposition how Watson was affected the most by the Awakened case (Recurring nightmares, also in Nemesis) But in comparison, Sherlock was affected the most by the Jack The Ripper case (The millers court scene).

I'm so glad this game got a well-deserved remake this year. The story was always interesting and macabre, but the graphics and some of the voice-acting made it look goofy. The remake creates a much scarier mood.

A very good game. However, you'd think that Frogwares would get its math correct. In the section of the video "Wharf Part 1" where Holmes discovers Amos Colby's passport, he says Amos is 36 years old. However, the passport clearly states his date of birth as 1852. Since this takes place in 1894, that means Amos is actually 42 years old. That or Amos' birth year is actually 1858 and someone forgot to double-check their math.

The clue to this puzzle is based on the newspaper clock puzzle. @@AndreaPannocchia I love these old adventure games the puzzles required thinking (not so tedious that it got boring but engaging enough to keep you going. The pixel perfect accuracy is a valid critique though we must keep in mind that these games were meant to be played in smaller screen resolutions.

Same for me. But i realize that issue because connect a controller attached. If any controller connect to your pc,try disconnect and start the game. This solve my problem, i don't know why. I play over steam too by the way.

I don't know if you've solved this now but there's something you can try. My copy was the original disc copy so it doesn't use steam. However, I have the steam version of 'Testament of Sherlock Holmes' and had the same problem. I solved it by right clicking on the game in steam and selecting properties. From there select 'Local Files' and then 'verify integrity of game files'. That worked for me with that game. Hope it helps here.

What I did was I had to download some legacy drivers from Nvidia to make it work, after I went into the game file and set the compatibility mode to an older version of windows. But hey, I got it working!

Watching the rest of gameplay here because I couldn't for some fricking reason examine left hand of the corpse :P I dunno if that was bug or I failed to pixel hunt something (found rectangle with cross, box with flowers, got the charcoal drawings, found statuette, examined pendant box and both tables...) (maybe I never found that torn passport page they were talking about? at least I dont' remember seeing one with blood in it)
