Well read and, generally, well written. But... Chapter 1. Very spooky place...has 2 separate midnights. They arrive at the Hall. Holmes looks at the paintings. Maid sees the phantom. Holmes notes its "midnight!" They are shown to their rooms. Watson notes Holmes still dressed and pacing for some time. And the clock strikes 12...
