thank you! i'm currently in the midst of getting chapter 5 translated :) the original author is amazing at characterization, i was feeling emotional when translating some of the chapters too ^^ there are 32 main chapters and 11... side-story sort of chapters. unfortunately, i've never contacted the author, heh... but i do link back to the original chapters as credit, and make sure that it's quite clearly stated that i'm just the translator and not the author ;)

The code is simply a "iloveyou", in the original fanfic John have guessed it for long and he thought it would be very complicated, until he realized that they're both in love, then he separated with Mary, and deciphered the code and read the long email written by Sherlock.
