@@thahoule7924 I think they already have the idea, just don't know how to execute it properly. It was here that they messed up a bit, the "execution" of the story telling. They even hinted to Magnussen when he talked about pressure points at around 0:37. Moffat have a tendency to spill beans here and there, then do a round up of the situation by the end, which he did in Doctor Who with River Song story arc. Hers started way back with Donna and David Tennant's doctor and we only get to know who exactly she is a couple of seasons later with Smith's doctor and Amelia. It was such a surprise, but the little hints were there, they were just proposed as if they were not related to the story, like here.

Manly a Stump We never see him with anyone who isn’t his enemy or just an employee of his (and he has killed his own minions before) whereas Sherlock and John are genuine friends. He probably meant it as in getting himself a “friend” who he has to drag around and explain everything to because it would be funny since everyone else is either strictly professional or dead.

The relationship between Sherlock and Moriaty is so similar to that of Batman and Joker. Batman, Like Sherlock, is the great detective, allways trying to solve the mystery. And Joker is allways one step ahead, taunting him, messing with Batmans psyche and emotional stability, if you look closely at Gotham's Joker/Jeremiah, and his never-ending battle with Batman/Bruce, you realise that the dialogue and characters motives are exactly the same, Moriaty is an anarchist, seeking to destroy society, like Joker, and Sherlock is trying to stop him, like Batman. I only just realised.

God, I love this scene so much, and the relationship between Sherlock and Moriarty. If this were any other hero or villain, they would both try to kill each other or stop the other's plans, but here Sherlock and Moriarty are just having a cup of tea and talking to each other like civil adults having a respect for one another. It really makes you think.

A Xylas Ok super unrelated, but this reminded me of Spider-Man: Far From Home, when Parker **spoiler warning (I guess??)* *For Spider-Man: Far From Home** took down Quentin and his final words were somewhat similar to the part, without the crown thing: “People need to believe, and these days they’ll believe anything” now it’s not word for word but it’s more as the main meaning is: If you have the “key” or people’s favor then you’ll be king, you’ll be the hero, you’ll be the one to come out victorious.. even when you’re the bad guy, the villain just a thought

Moriarty really is brilliant. He mentioned the "Final Problem" before he died. That means he knew that he would kill himself and knew that Sherlock would figure out a way to fake death. And like in the last episode, Moriarty visited Eurus 5 years ago. 5 YEARS AGO. that means he planned out everything and predicted everything right. True Genius.

Eurus planned this then. She asked for him, not the other way around. I think I remember Mycroft mentioning that she figures stuff out for the British government and can ask for “gifts” in return. Moriarty visiting for 48 hours (if I remember correctly) was one of those gifts.

This was such a brilliant new take on both iconic characters. Moriarty is such an enigma, but also very captivating at the same time. And I like Sherlock's personality an introverted, high functioning, sociopath. So aware of his shortcomings, but at the same time unapologetic because he's actually able to contribute to society.
