Yet another Conan Doyle story I hadn't heard of. Beautifully read, as always. Many thanks.

I am so happy you are recording these unknown Conan Doyle stories. IMO they are just as entertaining as any of the Sherlock Holmes stories. I hope you do more of them!

Didn't expect the twist to be so great. Throughout the entire story I kept thinking he should have gone to the captain straight a way. I can sense the foolishness of the main character.

A new level of excellent accents. Your Irish accent was beautiful. You transitioned so well from English to German to American and to a fine Irish. It’s exciting to hear these relatively unknown stories. Thanks Greg. It’s always a pleasure to hear your voice.

Thank you! Very well read. For the astute reader this story contains volumes encapsulated in the fewest words; a parable. I'm becoming convinced Doyle was one of the greatest writers who ever lived.

Help. LOST STORY TITLE. Not The Lost World I believe. In brief: maybe a Conan Doyle story or parody, man convinced to accompany team up S. American river to a land of dinosaurs, a ravine is traversed by felling a tall tree, tree removed and explorers exposed to monkey men. In the end some explorers return and at a lecture a baby pterodactyl suprises all.

Thank you. I found what I was looking for. The reason I thought it was a parody must be because it is actually a BBC drama... btw really enjoy your digressions.

Doyle wrote this? "I tried not to shake it." But they were RUNNING to the ship. Other blaring errors too. Blah. Not narrators' problem. Well done narrator.
