Seems incredibly efficient. I know I typically see 45-55Wh/Mi on my OG Sherman at about the same average riding speed for the tour, but was seeing you getting readings in the 30s when you were going over 30mph, and not even doing seated riding, which would improve the numbers even more. Amazing.

I’m still riding a sherman without suspension and I have a lot for which to look forward. Here call me out if i’m wrong: Nice cushy suspension with lots of options (4 shocks ?? seriously, so curious maybe flawed?) Active bms , higher current lower resistance batteries, more weight unless I consider the Falcon, possibly (very important to me) easier maintenance, I have never ridden seated (there is that), a wheel that does not self explode meaning the rim, fake safety and ip certification, hopefully fail safe for battery or other issues (where is AI and I don’t mean fuzzy logic lol). I won’t continue but just to say I can wait but I can’t “wait.”
@grb19694 ай бұрын
4 shocks is the Kingsong F22. The Sherman-L uses the same 2 FastAce shocks found on the Lynx with a slightly different but compatible springs (linear versus progressive).

Sorry, I was not clear. I was “ranting” about All these new wheels and the features All of these wheels they are coming with some really interesting benefits. I do not get why kingston would try to add 4 suspension rails and or shocks because if one goes out the wheel will be off balance meanwhile the weight of 4 vs 2 and likelihood of failure is doubled as is cost?

I also prefer the pedal at -2, also on those more powerful wheels its easier to accelerate and brake in medium mode i use medium 60% all my previous wheels were in hard mode and it was perfect but on my Lynx medium is the best, i don't like the soft mode the pedals dip way too much. The L seems more stable than the Lynx though probably because of the weight and the larger tire.

Batteries get 8 to nine percent lighter each year very consistently. If solid state batteries get to the point they are promised there could be a leap in energy density. This could mean a 4000wh batter which weighs 34 to 35 pounds would weight approximately 21 pounds on the conservative optimistic side and could be as light as 17 pounds

I thought "Sherman S" was short for "Sherman Suspension" and I think the "L" is just for "Lynx" because they have essentially combined the Sherman and the Lynx together to make this wheel. Even as popular as the Lynx is, is doesn't have as strong branding as the Sherman name does. It has had more iterations at Leaperkim and also has more of that strong tank feel compared to the Lynx name.
