I got mine from Ebay.1/16 scale. I got the metal tracks, motor metal gears and sprocket. Later. And put them on myself. Fun. These are a little bit pricey. Got around $ 325.00 . In it now after batteries upgrade. After I saw the movie Fury, I had to buy this. Very good movie, watched it about 40 times. 🤪 thank you for the video. Nice work. Simplify 👍

Hope you enjoy the hobby, non of mine were kits just ready to run with customisable bits included. As for cross country, its a question of scale, remember that your tank will be 1/16th so equally every obstacle needs to be considered the same way, so a 2cm blade of grass would really be a 32cm blade of grass and so on. These tanks do ok but you need to have a care at the same time

Sadly the outlet tubes are where shown in the video! the only easy option would be to drill a small hole in the tubes, but to be honest I don't use the smoke function that much :)

Hi everyone and thanks for all the nice comments, glad you enjoyed the review, to add I have found adding more smoke oil a pain really! you have to tip the tank on its back, add oil, right the tank, stand on nose and then on back so that the oil flows around all the bends LOL

Its hard to model the sprung tracks of a Sherman without making them very tight on the idlers and sprockets. Would be an expensive detail to model Im sure.

Hi Mike great video Just wondering did your sticker transfers go on okay mine just wont. As i peel them off the sticker comes off with the clear plastic cover. hi there bud, just a question as im purchasing a tank and i see that they dont come with smoke oil , is that just sewing machine oil is it or can that be used just the same ? and any advice you can give in regards to buying a tank will be greatly appreciated as this will be my first rc tank since i was a kid over 35 years ago now and just wanting to get some military vehicles and have a play around the back yard im more into the scale rc planes but getting into the ww2 scale vehicles more now and love the stuff i see on youtube thats what has been getting me the erge to buy a starter and for under $200 with the lot is not that bad i think , cheers and hope to hear back from you soon...

Hi and thanks, smoke oil does come with the tanks and can be purchased separately cheaply, I would not use any other kind of oils.

The fellow in the video says the accessories are kind of delicate. If the accessories get broken are they easy & cheap to replace or the exact opposite? I am just curious (being that I am a novice with RC tanks) because if you are having an RC tank battle firing BBs at one another it would seem that those accessories would be prone to getting broken if hit by the bbs.

Hi, this is the fellow in the video :) some are breakable I'd say and I would think getting a new kit of parts is possible but I've never tried it. As for battles, this is not what I do with my tanks, but on the occasions where I have fired on them (with another tank) there has been no damage. Hope this helps

No i don't ever use it either on my pzkpfw IV f2 and my pzkpfw VI ausf. E tiger cuz it uses too much battery and doesen't add much. I'll use smoke generators in fixed positions like houses or bunkers etc.

In this long'ish review we start with unboxing and move forward to testing the tank. It has metal tracks but everything else is plastic apart from the gears. Much smaller and lighter than the Tiger 1 I reviewed a while back. Once detailed, it looks the part. Running was good. Adding smoke oil will be a bit of a fiddle LOL. Be glad to answer questions and read comments. Watch out for a video featuring this tank in action soon.

Most other rc tanks boast that they have a 15 degree gun depression and a 15 degree gun elevation. In reality, that tank really gets 30 degrees gun elevation and no gun depression.

IKR! All the rc tank manufactures are Chinese. They make pretty good quality stuff, but it's kind of weird. The Chinese manufacturers haven't designed some very iconic tanks that many people want, like the T-34/76 and the Centurion. All the American manufacturers make pretty much crap tanks you only find in Walmart.
