(4K) PROCESIÓN DEL CORPUS CHRISTI DE SEVILLA 2024

Componen el cortejo nueve pasos, Santa Ángela, Santas Justa y Rufina, alfareras de triana, cuya hechura está atribuida a duque Cornejo, que flanquean una Giralda; San Isidoro.San Leandro, revestido de plata, que también parecen ser del autor anterior; San Fernando, el rey conquistador de Sevilla, obra de Pedro Roldán; la Inmaculada, de Alonso Martínez; acompañada por servidores de la Hermandad del Silencio; el Niño Jesús bajo templete de plata de Martínez Montañés; la Custodia Chica, que cobija la Santa Espina, una de las más importantes reliquias de la Catedral; y por fin, la Custodia de Arfe, un prodigio de plata para llevar a Jesús Sacramentado, y razón primera y última de la procesión.
The procession is made up of nine steps, Santa Ángela, Santas Justa and Rufina, potters from Triana, whose workmanship is attributed to Duke Cornejo, who flank a Giralda; San Isidoro.San Leandro, covered with silver, which also seem to be by the previous author; San Fernando, the conquering king of Seville, work of Pedro Roldán; the Immaculate Conception, by Alonso Martínez; accompanied by servants of the Brotherhood of Silence; the Child Jesus under a silver pavilion by Martínez Montañés; the Small Custody, which houses the Holy Thorn, one of the most important relics of the Cathedral; and finally, the Custody of Arfe, a silver prodigy to carry Jesus Sacramented, and the first and last reason for the procession.
