That's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen given it's a repurposed building. And good tea bags are silk like that. They help the flow of water into the bag be more efficient and don't turn into a mushy mess that paper bags do. Not sure if it was that haunted or not, but that was as quiet a Sherpa video as we've had in a long time. Maybe the ghosts convinced him to be quiet inside.

Awesome😀I’m from Arkansas USA and in nearby Eureka Springs, the Crescent Hotel is extremely haunted by reputation. As well, my diversity council thru my job booked all 100+ of us there for meetings. Well this one guy who had too much to drink and was being obnoxious, was in his room with several others when the ceiling fan over the bed FELL ON THE BED and missed the guy by INCHES.

How awesome! A few years ago we went on holiday close by and went on a lovely bike trail to bodmin jail. I remember they were working on turning parts of it into a hotel back then. So nice to see how it turned out!

This is awesome. Sarah is hilarious and adorable. Shep was quite a lot in the beginning of the video, use to him being vocal lol. This looks like so much fun. That inn needs some cleaning up, so many cobwebs lol. Wow they put a inside gym into there for guests, that's pretty cool. I wonder how sound is in the rooms, meaning if they are sound proof or not from other rooms. I love love heated floors. I have seen tea like those. Really creative turning an old prison/jail into a hotel. Love it. I love they allow pets. The sensor lights are a great touch. I bet saves on power.

Ha ha I love the way you were whispering...like you were in church! The breakfast (especially the mushrooms) looked heavenly. The noise/echo of the original building has been cleverly damped down. It would have been very loud environment. Love the floor covering which echoes the open stone wall pattern. Carpet pattern often makes people dizzy, but that one is clever because it doesn't. Glad you all enjoyed your stay and thanks for showing us round.

Yay, the dynamic trio rides again! Sister Sarah, I have SO missed you, with your effervescent personality, along for the trips. You were so thoughtful of Sherpa, making his bed, saving him chicken. You're a wonderful sister and daughter. Jamie, re lack of haunting moments, I think you and Sarah's bedtime instructional convo with the spirits - "We're all friends here, no scary stuff, you're on a break" - declared your intentions, and the spirits may have followed your wish to not be disturbed, except for Sherpa's wee hours wakeup. Also, Sherpa was unusually quiet. You were instructing him, partly due to the posh-ness of the place, and also due to the acoustics of the stone walls. I can't tell if he was also quietly having his own experiences with the ghosts. If they were too scary, they couldn't keep the hotel booked, so my guess is, although they probably suffered in the place, the spirits still resident there might have had a soft spot for Lord Sherpa. Otherwise, there would have been a mess to clean up amongst the poshness. Amazing renovation of a historic site! Whoever paid for/financed it certainly got their 60M worth. Going to watch again to look for that thing someone mentioned around 25 mark.

Hey Jamie, had some more thoughts on this video in the last 24 hrs. 1. The couple at My Mountain Husky took their husky girls to a haunted historic hotel. What they did right: applied a night vision lens and left the camera on all night long, aimed at the sleeping & sitting side of the room, with all lights off. What they could have done better: brought comfortable bedding elements for Sky. She slept on the hard wooden benches and was up and down all night. Kakoa slept on the bed between Mom and Dad's legs. Episode: "What My Dogs Do Overnight in a Haunted Room", 2 wks ago. 2. Unexpected Gypsy is a gypsy-fae mage (art studio in Somerset), who enjoys wandering the outdoors and does vanlife with her partner James, a photography geek who does the conversion work on the van. Maybe partner/consult with them for a spooky nighttime wander outdoors/in at other historical location(s) or at least on the tech gear for ghostly video captures and tips for better working with spirits? 3. Borrow Jodie's dog vision goggles, paired with a night vision lens, for a haunted jaunt. Test first at home, with camera(s) setup all night long. Maybe even try a home seance. Consider the possibilities that spirits are all around us, even in our own homes, historic and contemporary. Especially our loved ones, family and friends, human and animal, who have gone before. 4. On your previous visit to Jamaica Inn, you did manage to capture an orb near Sarah as she sat ahead of you in a darkened room. The renovations at Bodmin Jail are far more extensive and no doubt disturbed some of the energies with all the non-historic-respective upscale and safety changes. Sarah was much more light-hearted, playful and open to the spirits at Jamaica Inn. At Bodmin Jail, she did not want to be tapped by a spirit in the night. What changed? Was she concerned about the nature of the jail ghosts being darker? Were you concerned about the same thing? Also, you were very concerned about the poshness of the place. I get that way, too. Perhaps a little breathing and centering, declaring with intent your openness to interact with love and light-filled spirits only? That's what I did out on the deck last night (calendar Halloween 2021). I needed to open more, but still was able to feel several cool touches through my clothing. Just examining variables in paranormal experiences to improve your subsequent attempts. You could also try Law of Attraction, visualization, expressing gratitude and acting as if you had already received pleasant interactions with spirits and successfully captured it on camera. Blessed be, all.

That is madness to go to a former jail hotel however nice it is - all these vibes. Sherpa was so quiet b/c dogs can pick up on the vibe - he was not happy and just moseying along until it was time to go home. This was a fascinating idea - could have almost been a documentary-like. I've been to Bodmin Jail and it had a nice pub, the rain pouring through the old rooftops, and the chat by the friendly executioner at the end who decapitated an old mannequin. Maybe shoulda left Sister Sarah in the medieval stocks.. That was about 10 years so maybe they've turned it into a posh hotel since then..

Sherpa was his lovely gentlemanly polite(and ever so quiet) self going in and out of the hotel , but were you and Sister Sarah both whispering when you were first arriving at the Hotel or am I losing what's left of my hearing?😂 I've had tea in those nice teabags. There's a brand called Harney & Sons that uses them here in the US. There not as posh as you might think. Their Hot Cinnamon Sunset tea is lovely.
