The Christmas tree comes down when it comes down and not before. My music teacher's wife leaves the tree up and by February it is decorated with red lights and hearts!! So many thoughtful gifts you have received, and Sherpa even jumped up to get in on the goods!! 🤣 Enjoy!

So, after we had to put down our Border Collie Jerry in Mai last year, with just over 15 years of age, we took some time for us. Watching Sherpa on video reminds me so much about how Jerry was the last years when getting older. Now after approx. 9 months we are in the process of adopting a dog again. 2 years of age from a local shelter here in Germany. He has been in the shelter for roughly 50% of his life and yes, he has some issues, but nothing that some love, training and specially some peace and quiet can`t solve. He moved in ahead of schedule and has to go back to the shelter this week for the weekend, since we are on a trip over the weekend, where we can`t take a dog with us and since he still has to wear a muzzle, we can`t leave him alone with our son. But sunday he will come back, most likely for good and get his forever home, with lot´s of patience and support for him to calm down and learn to manage his misbehavior. Watching Sherpa is always great fun.
