Popped right over here after watching Jamie's vid today (Nov25/24). It took about 1 sec for the uncontrollable waterworks to start. At first, from the resurrection of that soul deep grief gripping my heart like a vice of steel. Then the tidal wave of emotion turns and my tears morph into those of bittersweet joy at this most precious legacy of Sherpa, that Jamie has given us, truly capturing the essence of Sherpa. Beloved Sherpie who brought love, joy and laughter where ever he ventured, Loved so much and missed by so many. Perhaps KCIII will grant our Sherpa the highest rank of Knighthood posthumously; Sir Sherpa Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Now that thought brings a most joyful smile to my face.

I came here on the 20th because I love this animation. I haven't stopped crying every time I see his picture. I lost my Mufasa 2 years ago to the same cancer. It happens so fast, and then you go through confusion at what just came out of the blue and killed your baby. Sending love and hugs to you, Jamie, and Sherpa, may you RIP. Absolutely brilliant. The caricature of Sherpa was extremely lifelike. I had goosebumps watching this. Towards the end, I cried tears of joy over how that robin (santa paws) gave him a huge bag of treats in return for him giving up his so the robin could feed his family. Oh Jamie! That is so beautiful! I got all teary right away watching it. I lost my pup, Panda (a husky border collie mix) this summer. She was by my side for 17 years.
