This is what indigenous wisdom sounds like, you can feel millions of years in her speech. This is what grants the calm certainty of her delivery, such a welcome lesson for the chaotic era of COVID-19 with the crisis of leadership. I wish many more people will end up here listening to Sherri Mitchell. And I'm so happy that Native American Deb Haaland will be in charge of the EPA, finally a switch in the mode of thinking about environment in the U.S.

I'm a white Dutch male. Yet I resonate very much with all of this. But I think the crisis we're in, is, sadly, more evolutionary. We, (former) Europeans too are victims, and culprits yes, of these damaging believe systems. Systems brought to us, by barbarian conquerers, by the Romans, the Christians, the Capitalists. Too many of us just blabber along with the dominant powers. And with the discovery of ancient cities without hierarchical powers, or religions we get to look anew. All these were overrun by hierarchical (psychopaths? sociapath?) powers that were just smarter at leading people into war with lies and force. They discovered tricks that still define most dominant powers in the world. Ideology, religion, force, money, training a disconnected individual 'normal' are some of these. And one either buys into these and advances in our society, or one rips it apart and is called mad. Mad like an indigenous shaman. ;)

This is how I feel as well. These Abrahamic religions are tools to enslave you. They want you to ignore the circumstances of your planet and people, so that you’ll look forward to the next life? What the hell? That isn’t true religion. True spiritualism is connection from the earth that gives you sustenance and life. Greetings from America, Comanche tribe.

Your ability to take cultural information and provide it to those outside your familiar, is a gift. I am moved by the universal truth that we are one. My blonde hair and green eyes, your brown hair and brown skin, connected by one Light. Composed of one Light. Walking the same path, lit by the same universal Light. Only love for you beautiful lady. And this talk made me realize that all dominance control based multi-generational religions also impart genetic memories, and delusional thoughts that might accompany them into your genetic present. That's why it can be particularly difficult for spiritual truth seekers to actively swim against that tide.

Sherri's essence and authenticity is to be Honored and Recognized...🙏🏽 A couple of things we might consider including and a suggestion to contemplate: Not much was mentioned about the role our Ancestors can contribute to our evolutionary process? How asking them for help and participation with their guidance, insights, Wisdom, etc.? When the Mayan Calendar ended on Dec. 21, 2012, it was not the end of the world. However, if one might have listened to the Mayan Shaman, they shared that at the end of their calendar what toke place was the establishment of a new 5th elemental. We all know about the 4 elementals (Earth, Wind, Fire, Water) but we now have a 5th which is "Ether". Yes, most will know that Ether has always been there, but now it is a n "elemental". And where do our Ancestors reside??? (Ahem!) Sherri might also consider producing her book in an audio format where her voice, vibration, energetic, passion, etc. can be shared in way that no written word possibly could. Writing by definition is an attribute of Kali Yuga.... (a.k.a. Iron Age, Dark age, etc. that we are in the twilight of emerging from). This is why ancient cultures did not have their stories, Wisdoms, insights, etc. documented in writing because they embodied a higher level of consciousness that did not require it. Hence; this where we are ascending towards and will soon regain these capabilities. This is no way a criticism or judgement in any way with this video.... It is intended to augment and expand upon the subject matter and continue the diverse dialog of our evolutionary intentions..... In Lak' ech, (Mayan meaning: "I am another you")

This is probably a strange thing to drop here but here goes. I'm African American and had my ancestry done. Not a lot of Native American blood and yet since I was a child I have been attracted to Native American culture. Read and read about it and now in my golden years I now believe in some way not discoverable by science I am a member of the Original Nation. I feel happy and complete.

You are not alone ♥️✨ I’m a 51 year old Australian woman. When I was little I’d cry my eyes out watching cowboy & Indian shows, I’d cry for the Indian not the cowboy. Then in my late teens/early adulthood I read everything I could get my hands on to do with Native Americans. I Am brave enough to say that I KNOW that I have lived perhaps many incarnations as Native American. Their culture & beliefs resonate totally with my heart & soul.

I enjoyed your speaking engagement immensely. 95percent of what you have discussed is where I believe and how I practice. Although I have questions concerning the spiritual aspects since my belief is in Jesus Christ. I would like to know how Jesus the Christ plays into the Native American belief? The main reason I feel this is important is because the church as I know it is divided in the belief that shamanism is witchcraft and Jesus is excluded altogether. Please explain your recollection from the elders so I may speak with the knowledge you have learned when I am told the negative aspects of the Native American ways. As you have mentioned we are so inner connected and spiritually these people my Christian brothers and sisters have seemed to forgotten this. Thank you...Your heart is good and words bring much knowledge. Now we only need the understanding...

While living in Maine. I had made friends. When I told them that I'm half native American. Mom's side 1/2 Abnaki and Dad's side 1/2 Cherokee. Friends, after 3+ years of friendship, ended. She said, "Why did you tell us this. We hate Indians. As all the others joined in to agree with her. Hearing in the news. How a boy was made fun of by his coach at school fit being Indian. News making fun of situation as well. They said, "We can't be friends anymore." They all turned on me. Made-up lies. Believed lies. We are and have a right to live. Live in peace and not ever be ashamed of who we are. No matter what tribe. Race. Religion. We are made from our maker. We must protect all life and not allow the abuses of others to take away who we are. In the midst peaceful ways possible. Yet, not allow ourselves to be destroyed in the process.

Let us not forget that the ancient traditions of the Hindu Scriptures have also been trivialized and disparaged ... and the Rishis were acknowledged to have had a written language. What I want to know is, who are these people that do all this trivializing? They are opinion leaders in all nations all around the world. How did we let them get all the power to determine what is true truth and what is alloyed truth? Answer: According to the best interpretation of Sherri Mitchell's teachings, they are all and every one of us. Look no further than your own understanding for the truth that applies to you. Just make sure that understanding is yours and not somebody else's. Then compare and contrast. How does it feel? (Those four instructions are four instructions).

I think indigenous religions that aren’t one of the big three, are being specifically stepped on to facilitate the corporatization of those religions. They want our heritage, our languages, our diverse spiritualities eradicated, and then the earth is lost. 🤷‍♀️ Any true, ancestral spirituality also preaches that one must be a warrior for the planet, our earth. ☝️ The powers that be want you comfortable with living in hell, dreaming of heaven in the next life.

Lovely talk.. Especially about being one's whole self going into all situations (though acting also adds colour to our world).. About oral tradition, I agree it's very valuable. The thing you're saying about sound vibration triggering memory to keep traditions alive basically just means that we teach each other through words so that the next person can teach it... this whole thing about sound specifically having a metaphysical role sounds a bit pretentious. But I suppose it's true in a way 😅
