So beautiful. These buttons made with a small hook would make small buttons for baby booties and baby knitwear. I think I have fallen in love with these buttons. Plastic and metal buttons would injure and hurt my grandson, just one year now, so I have decided to make buttons SHERU's way. No more anxiety of the baby munching on the buttons. THUMBS UP. Hooray! I was able to create a lovely light pink button thanks to this tutorial! Thank you! BTW, I had difficulty using bulky #5 yarn, but after several attempts, I realized that I only needed to wrap my (fine point permanent marker) 8 times with bulky yarn. Also, I only needed to crochet one round to achieve the desired "flower puff". [Note: I plan to attach the puff button to the lovely short "scoodie" I loom knitted. Because the scoodie yarn is so bulky, I will be sewing the puff button on the right side of scoodie, placing a smaller plastic button on the wrong side of scoodie (beneath the crochet puff button) for ease of use.] Thanks again!
