Her voice during the chorus is just so full of heart. She's kind of a goddess right there. A dirty goddess, but that's the best kind!

@lb19845 жыл бұрын
I think the video is suggesting that she has achieved her personal success but feels like she is on display with it. Like she was stuck in a diarama for people to speculate about. The lyrics can work with anything. If that heroin makes you so happy, why are you the most miserable person I know? That kind of thing is what I get out of it. Not her best song by far. I like here song called Run.

The video seems unrelated to the song and kinda distracts. (Sometimes those videographers just do their own thing regardless of the songs content). You just have to go read the lyrics to get whatever it is the song is trying to say sometimes. what I get from it, is she's the girl that tries to do everything she can to make this relationship work. They've been on all kinds of adventures together to try to be happy. But for some reason, one of them's still not satisfied with their relationship. Nothing really deep , Just a song about two people trying to make it work but not having much luck no matter what they do. Cheryl's songs are sometimes just all about the melody and having musical hooks. Which is ok. I got no problem with that.

This wasn't the reaction the song or artist deserved imo. A lot of Sheryl's songs have very strong choruses and the verses have lots of cultural references and commentary that make them a bit impenetrable looking back. Doesn't make the song bad. The song has a brilliant melody and is very clever lyrically, and she sings great on it. This video isn't your best work, but hey, we all have days when we phone it in.
