5:46 she moves and talks in a way that makes her look like she’s very drunk or high. Kind of the opposite of the person we all knew in the mid 90s. It was really sad to see. I don’t remember hearing anything about that at the time. A year earlier before the recession it would’ve been huge news and all over the tabloids. She did just adopted her first child two years earlier. She said in an interview in the early 90s that when she had a drink she had trouble stopping drinking because if she wanted one she wanted a lot of them. I just saw that for the first time a few days ago but heard about it back then. At the time she didn’t seem to have any concept that there is anything wrong about that or that indicated that she was an alcoholic. But I wonder if she actually has had problems with some sort of addiction. She’s recently come out about the fact that she has bipolar disorder. Often people with bipolar disorder self medicate before they are diagnosed and successfully treated with medication. I really like and have always respected er and hope she hasn’t had problems with addiction.
