I'm an old guy who never paid any attention to the WNBA before. I don't even watch the NBA anymore because I don't like the current style of play, but I'm all over this Caitlin Clark story. Give credit where credit is due - all of the extra league wide attention, attendance increases, and hopefully future financial gains for all of the women in the WNBA is coming about because of the attention given to CC and her performance on the court. Not Swoops, and for damn sure not Reese.

Mr.lee..when the wnba first started out back in the 90's there was another cc..cynthia cooper. She was an amazing player that came back from Europe to play in the states. I really believe that she brought the eurostep with her, the one ginobili of the spurs used all the time. Anyway she won 4 championships with the houston comets..but Sheryl swoops was also on that team and she was jealous of the other cc,because she was also the better player. Unfortunately cynthia cooper got tired of swoops crap back then too and retired. Point being swoops was full of crap back then and the only thing that has changed is she's even worse now. But hopefully she will cancel herself soon

I didn't even know the WNBA existed until Caitlin Clark was drafted... I didn't watch a game this year until the Fever started winning games. I don't have a clue how good Sheryl Swoops was but even if she was a top player, I wouldn't care because she is a bad, jealous, racist person who I can't stand to listen to. I like Angel Reese, or at least did before she started acting jealous and racist but not as badly as Swoops. (Swoops may be happy that we know who she is now, even it we think badly of her.)

She said her records at college shouldn’t count cause she played 5 years, Caitlin played 4 years and broke the record with fewer games played, Clark should dominate cause she’s 25 she said, fact Clark is only 22, she’s taking 40 shots a game, nope she taking about half that many. I'm white my ancestry is German and Scots, and in 78 years you are first one I've ever heard call whites ' European Americans". Maybe if we dropped the hyphenated thing, and just called ourselves Americans, a lot of that bigotry you mention would fade away. I have lots of friends, some are white, some black, some Asian. some hispanic. I don't categorize them by race. They are my friends.
