Braxton hicks Are not painful .. so if your having painful timed contractions go to the doctor! your water does not have to break in order to be in labor

Kristi Tonge Braxton hicks are VERY uncomfortable and painful. Maybe not for YOU, and everyone is different but even so now 36 weeks pregnant with my third & they have been painful as every other time. So you cannot just make a statement just because it was like that for you. It's also her first child and eve ey symptom is new for her, having a contraction isnt something you're just used too having, so it could Def be painful.
