We're not a native speakers anyway, so actually, when we use our Indonesian accent, malah lebih jelas dan ketauan ini orang ngomong apa (selama pronunciation nya jelas) . Jedanya jelas.
@nailafarhana_7 жыл бұрын
you brought up some really good points! emang kalo buat dimengerti sama orang indonesia lebih baik pake logat indonesia biar lebih jelas :) tapi mungkin ini bisa ngebantu pronounciationnya kalo lagi tes inggris kayak TOEFL ato IELTS dll :) Anyway, thanks for your insights!

having a clear speech doesn't mean we can't have American or British accent.. and actually.. if we pronounce the words correctly we automatically adopt the accent. Indonesian for instance.. got so many languages and when they speak Bahasa Indonesia many of them are still stuck in their traditional languages we call this 'medhok' and it's quite difficult to get rid of it, especially for certain areas. Btw it's a nice video, Linguistics stuff is an endless 'thing', bravo! :D

The Beatles" terdengar jadi "The Beedles".
@mohammadluayyi33437 жыл бұрын
Walaupun american english (AE) banyak di gunakan, Karena lebih "luwes/semau gue" tapi banyak pendidik english yang lebih mengarah kan ke british english (BE) sebab kata dan tatanan kalimat nya lebih formal, so™ up to you, thanks kak 🙏👍 ...
@gracemerryputrisabira38747 жыл бұрын

i read a lot of comments here saying that it's okay to have an Indonesian accent while speaking English. Let me tell you all something; it's actually NOT okay. If you're learning a language, at some point you will have to learn to speak with a proper NATIVE accent, otherwise PEOPLE CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOU. WE DON'T LEARN ENGLISH SO THAT OTHER INDONESIANS CAN UNDERSTAND US, WE LEARN ENGLISH SO WE CAN CONVERSATE WITH NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS. I say this as someone who has lived in the states for 7 years and can speak both Indonesian and English fluently with a native accent. MOST (NOT ALL) AMERICANS WILL LOOK DOWN ON YOU IF YOU SPEAK WITH AN ACCENT THAT IS THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH.

she has an american accent tapi klo digabungin kok kedengerannya jadi kaya she hasn't americanaccent.... belajar b. inggris emang paling susah ya listening..hehe

Cara paling ampuh buat ngebedahin yakni analisis artinya. Mungkin nggak kalau kata kmu jadi 'She hasn't American Accent' artinya, dia bukanlah aksen amerika. Kalau' She has an American accent' kan jelas artinya sama hubungannya dengan kalimat sesudahnya misal.
@agungardiansyah47615 жыл бұрын
"She hasn't american accent" itu bukan kalimat yg bener kalo dari grammar. Harus ada verb 3 setelah hasn't. Buat yg ngerti grammar pasti ngerti maksudnya dia ngomong "she has an american accent". Kalo "she hasn't american accent" itu ga punya makna/arti.

beda dong kalo inggris itu british, america ya american UK sama US beda, kalau di rasa sih sama aja bagi orang indo, yang penting bahasanya didenger inggris ya inggris aja, kalau accent tuh kan logat, kalau logat, gak usah ampe lintas negara, daerah aja udah beda, accent orang texas sama california, atau sama guensy, udah beda, hehehe
