That 24 hour Edge Tamer is Great to use. I use all the time!!! I Really use it when I just put a perm on My head and I Need slick My Edge down it does the Work quick and fast!!! But I don't put Alot on my Edge because it Can turn White on your Edges.

If you are still having an issue with laying down your edges..make sure you moisturize your edges at night and tie with a satin scarf. it'll help it lay better the next day.

I have 4c hair and this laid down my edges all day and I thought I was done looking and found the best for me until it left white residue and flaked up. not only that but took me forever to wash it out of my hair. I had to condition over night. I am going to try Hicks next

Thank you, thank you! I've been natural for 4 years now and live in Miami where the insane humidity makes it difficult to "control" my hair. I use a lot of wigs and half wigs so edge control is essential but I've yet to find a product that truly works. :)

Zoe Banny I totally understand! It's very hard to find good ones for our edges. This one is pretty good and I've paid over $20 for some in the past. With any product it will dissolve with time and humidity but this did pretty good. Thanks so much for watching

Awwwwwwwww!!! I am so happy to hear!! Yes Ebin stuff is good, now you may or may not have an issue with the white residue that Ebin may cause between washes. If you do, get the Ebin colored Edges I did a review on that too, it comes in colors 1b-4, that will help conceal the white residue in case it becomes an issue. Hopefully it doesn't.

The black one goes completely white once it touches my hair, even after washing...even if I just have a leave-in. Doesn't play well with other products AT ALL.

Nicky R I only experience the white residue after repeatedly using it and I assume it's from the buildup. If you like how the product lays your edges try adding the Ebin colored edges to the mix it will help some.

if you want to grow your edges out use wild growth hair oil I cut a patch in mines taking down a sew in and I put some of the growth oil in and when I took my braids down it was grown back plus my hair was longer...and great video I love this edge control

I wouldn’t suggest it for braiding because on some hair it may turn white unless they improved it since here. A thick gel is better on braids sort of on the lines of shine and jam which Ebin may have a version of.

i used the neon green ebins but ill find something and yes i piled everything on as well and tied it down i got hot and poof product melts

The black might be a little stronger in strength but it sounds like your hair absorbs the product which is making it super hard to tame. Even with my method my hair lays but I expect that the end of the day it will absorb eventually Unless we perm our edges which is a no no. I rather just embrace my natural edges. Do you deep condition your hair? Sometimes I notice when I deep condition my hair is softer and may lay easier.

Ok I'm so over edge controlers or tammers, I got very course hair, I keep buying different ones, I bought embin mega hold, and it hold and flakes at the same time, I had to add black gel or a little gel to keep it from doing the flaking, but my edges kinda curled back up,🤦🤷😬

Keshia Carter yes I think if you are natural no edge tamer is going to give you the perfect slick edges that is just the game we play when we go natural! Sometimes using a scarf to set your edges for 10-15 mins can help it last longer. If you want a better hold pressing your edges out with a small flat iron or hot comb works and then applying the edge tamer, but if done too often heat damage will happen. I say just embrace your curly edges.

Cynthia Lucien I believe the extra mega hold lasted a little bit longer but not by much! Even when my hair eventually absorbed the product my edges still appeared laid without curling just the shine was gone.
