I was in toxic relation. Even I could feel everything is so toxic so wrong I always tried to fix things I did everything in my power to save but at the end I walked away. It was not easy but I want to advice all who are reading or seeing this great video You have to know your worth. If you ever feel like you are not treated right, being blamed for everything, your hapinness is ignored and you have to compromise everytime. Just walk away without a second thought. It is difficult but trust the process. Because when you are out of the relation you will see things which you couldnot when you were in that relation.

Try saying her that you understand that she has all the right to give time to other imp people in her life and you appreciate how she takes care of them. I went through something very similar. I was about to get married to the guy. My friends and family kept on telling me this is not right, you are not getting the respect you deserve. This can become physically abusive. He had thrown things in anger, intimidated me by yelling, and pressed my hand in anger. His parents used to tell that he's impulsive and has anger issues but he loves you dearly. So you need to know how to handle him so you don't trigger his anger and keep him calm. When you stop provoking him he will not use abusive words. I had started doubting myself. I thought me and my parents are too demanding. Just because I earn well we are not able to compromise and act as per the expectations of the ladkewalas. They wanted to dominate everything in the wedding preparation as they were paying for half of the wedding and were not ready to accommodate any needs of my parents. The guy told me that my father is an arrogant man and he will take revenge from my father when time comes. I was so scared and i had no idea what's my responsibility and what's not. What's my fault and what's not. Finally the guy was not allowing me to choose my wedding dress. He said i was too stubborn to think of choosing ny dress on my own (that too after his mom had already given approval to me but she might have denied that to her son). I felt I have had enough. I'm sacrificing a lot by getting married and moving city, job everything for a guy who can't understand me or stand up for me. He was financially dependent on his parent's business. His parents had refused to let him draw any salary on request of my parents and they wanted to control financial decisions. I brokr off the engagement and didn't get married. I still think about the good parts sometimes and I'm finding it hard to move on. The guy tried to apologize and suddenly he was realizing all his mistakes and said that he was unable to see all the issues and will make changes. But this time I was unable to trust him and was really scared of living with his manipulative and controlling mother (who he used to think as a very wise and sensitive lady). 3 months after apologizing to me and saying that he still loves me, he got engaged to another girl and posted romantic videos on Instagram. I've lost a lot. Lost my self esteem. Started feeling that I'm not good at choosing clothes, or not good enough in speaking, talking to people and what not. I still get nightmares about things his mother told me, things like I'm not mature enough and I'm not prepared to live in sasural as my mother has not been able to teach me. It's an ongoing PTSD and I just hope to recover.

And yes, religions should definedly change with time because there is no point in living an ancient life in the 21st Century. And No, marriage is not necessary if you don't want to. A bond is a bond. If you love someone, you CAN stay with them without marrying them if you like. Marriage just gives you certain legal and social advantages. But if you love a person and don't wanna marry them, it's fine. It doesn't mean that you don't love. One question If the person always abusing you and your family using foul words and in return you never abuse her or him rather justifying that its not her or his fault why she or he is like that , its her up bringing ,its the culture what they had been from birth. Some time they took you to that level that you lose your control and they again start blaming you over that behavior. I suddenly found him talking with his female friend through video calls(with whom he had chats like that the girl says i want to see you, where are you, come meet me, lets do vid call ,had food .. On a regular basis and upon asking he says they are joking as they are good friends and she had already a bf) , and on asking he told me that there is no particular reason for those calls.. Even though the calls were on daily basis and of no. Of times... After that he said he stopped talking through video calls but they surely talk in call (that he accepts) even once a day with some made of reasons... Now as i started keeping eye on him, asking from him for quick replies of my texts and telling him to not contact with her unless its really important ...so am i being TOXIC now in the relationship??.. Pls help
