Its because it is not compatible to PC which is a huge letdown. This important info has conveniently never been disclosed in the PlayStation Website. Thus, people who are expecting this to work on a PC can kiss goodbye to that dream. Thus, buying this camera is beneficial only to game streamers.

For $60 the camera is very clear and the colors spot on. Nothing in the $60 range gives you the amount of tech built in. It’s 1080p 60 but for face cam is more than enough. I recommend 4k for enlarge video chats where it’s going to best. I love my ps5 setup and easy to steam and no lag like my ps4 slim/pro.

webcam determines only the face quality right ? it doesnt determine the game quality because my tv is 4k i can stream on 4k

Just to clarify, this won't work for VR, even with the PSVR adapter. That adapter is specifically to convert the proprietary plug for the PS4 camera (a port the PS4 has but the 5 does not) into standard USB. If you remember the free adapters Microsoft sent out back in the day to hook up the ill-fated Kinect sensor to the Xbox One X, it's essentially the same thing (proprietary-to-USB adapter). Since the PS5 camera is already USB, the adapter will do nothing for it at all. This camera is just straight up not compatible with PSVR. You need the PS4 camera.

I have a question, if you have a 4K TV for example and you always play your games in 4k, will streaming in 1080P with your camera lower your actual resolution, or is that only for the audience when they're watching you? I assume it would. For your voice there’s a option in the settings to include it. It doesn’t automatically come with. I’ve recorded a few clips and my voice wasn’t there until I found it.
