Just for everyone who thought the playing was bad and the tenors were tuned very low: 1. Playing the solo on smaller drums like these is pretty difficult and it doesn't help that Yamaha's rims are really tall compared to Pearl's. 2. They also played it blindfolded which is not very easy as well and the crowd seemed to enjoy it which is all that matters. 3. These guys could've been freshmen or seniors, either way, they played pretty well and seemed to have a lot of fun. 4. They actually posted their playing to the INTERNET, something I bet everybody who commented: "This is bad." or "Stay in time" something similar would or will never do. If you think their run was bad, upload you playing it. The tuning is actually pretty good IMO. They are a bit low pitched, but some schools prefer it that way so drumheads will last longer. Both the tenors are also tuned relative to each other almost perfectly. When they play together, you don't hear any inconsistencies with each of the drums, player A's drum one is the exact same note as Player B's drum one and that's the same for all the other drums. I'd much rather have the drums be a little low in pitch overall than have the drums tuned up but not in tune with all the players. Well done tenors and basses, that was a pretty good run to close an undefeated season!

My band does this all the time. Our lovely silly 3 boys that do jigg for us are Ronnie = Funny, weird, Cool Clark = Precusion captain, silly, fun, superman, upside down jiggy Bryce = Actually Pitt, never done high till his junior year 2021, fun, and my boyfriend best friend

Yamaha carriers are not very comfortable underneath the jackets. Pearl carriers work well underneath jackets if you get fitted for a jacket while you have the carrier on. Most schools don't put carriers underneath their uniforms (including mine) just because it is uncomfortable and larger jackets are needed to accommodate for the carrier.
