Shi Yuqi might still be overshadowed by the more famous players such as Lin Dan or Chen Long, but it's no question that China has a very strong contender for an olympic podium contender. He's only 24 years old! He has a very aggressive and attacking game, playing the tight spinning netshots often and forcing a short lift.
Tommy Sugiarto on the other hand, has been in the competitive circuit for quite a long time now (he's 32 Years old!), but you can still see some very aggressive plays, but in this match, I think Tommy was unable to really push Shi Yuqi and he is constantly on the defensive. Sh YuQi's defense is really just as strong, so Tommy has to put in more effort than his opponent to win these rallies. In the end, in my opinion he was outmatched.

Who's your favourite player? Shi Yuqi is definitely up there in one of my favourite players to watch. He is able to constantly be on the attack. Makes you wonder how he's able to keep up the stamina!
