He's one of the few child actors that made it out. I know there have been lots of stories about him acting crazy... But, who hasn't done some crazy shit? I'll never forget that road trip he took, where people just picked him up, and he hung out with them. That was awesome. He's down to earth. He's probably my favorite actor of all time. If he never wins an Oscar, then the Oscars can shove it. Has anyone here seen Peanut Butter Falcon? That's one of my favorite movies I've seen in the last ten years. It’s cool that Shia was humble enough to come. Too many celebs try to forget their earlier beginnings but this movie meant so much to so many. I remember still reading the book (with the movie cover) on the bus on my way to summer camp and being so excited for the movie to come out. The Holes music video on repeat on Disney. Lol. Well a lot of kid actors back in the day were bullied for their roles in movies because kids were typically cast in family friendly movies which weren't viewed as cool, for example Jake Llyod had a horrible life after Star Wars because of the bullying he received from peers, there's also the Sprouse twins who were quick to run from the spotlight, it's way different nowadays because mediums that were considered nerdy or lame are normalized in modern society, I remember when anime would get you shunned and bullied at school, now an anime adaptation is a top 10 streamed series in the world.

Holes was probably one of the first books I remember reading in elementary school assigned along with getting to watch the movie as a reward for completing it. What a cool experience to get everybody together for such a great film. To see people you haven't seen or spoken to in years is such a gift. Congrats to all involved. What an awesome experience and glad I got to get a view of this showing!! Great to see Shia and a lot of the other cast come out to support.

I sit here and watch this video for the entire nine minutes and twenty-two seconds with nothing but a smile on my face and pure joy in my heart. Not for the fact that this movie was my favorite growing up because in all reality the original Spiderman was always my favorite, but I always went back to this movie whenever I went over to my grandma's house, but seeing everybody smile and hug is just something that warms my heart entirely. In my country I was a borderline failure bur in the states I was a 4.0. That shows how much your countries system is failing its kids. Edgar Allen poe was the father of the detective novel. He was a nut job and mentally inept in a lot of things. I find it heartbreaking that Americans are like this when they gave us such great authors such as Poe, Twain, Elliot and so many more. I was raised to use those terms when speaking with folks as well, some people take it as offensive because they think you're calling them old in a roundabout way. Wow. Unreal that it's been 20 years. I just know when i rewatch it all the memories will come rushing back. That film was different from anything else at the time. From the visuals, casting and overall storyline it really stood out on its own. Probably why it's so nostalgic for so many people. I remember watching all the behind the scenes footage and cannot forget the song "Dig It". Disney Channel would play the video on repeat for forever. I still remember the lyrics to this day, especially Armpit's lines. I remember thinking it was so cool that they got all the guys from the cast to be on the track. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since the movie came out... I was 10yrs old. How time flies. I still quote lines from it and listen to the songs. Kate and Sam's story made me cry. Thank you Khleo for putting this together! It's awesome to see everyone and how much it's apparent they all loved working on the movie.

I had a special experience with holes. Long before the movie came out, my primary school teacher read us the whole book in class. He put on every voice and changed up his accent for every character. When the movie eventually came out 3 years later, it ended up being exactly like he read it.

Shia looks so happy here. He had a hard life growing up as a kid in the industry (as most of them did in the 90s and 200s, there weren't the same protections). But around this group, he seems to be one. Shout out to Khleo for his humble and outgoing spirit and making this an enjoyable watch.

This was the most heartwarming video I’ve seen in weeks man. I didn’t know how much I needed that pinch of humanity. You and Shia should make a biweekly / monthly pod cast call it Holes since you’ve got a generation of people on these platforms that back the movie, and through the holes in the pod you could interview call in guests, social events, etc. Theoretically speaking this would be awesome but I’m sure it would be tough to get him to commit to something like that. I wish I would have known about this! My best friend and I met 20 years ago right after the movie came out on a Holes message board online. We lived on opposite sides of the country and stayed in touch for years and finally met in person back in 2012 and we’ve been best friends ever since. I also stay in touch with a couple other people I met there too. Thank you guys for the magic you created 20 years ago! Much love!

Wow this made my heart so happy to see! I remember my sixth grade class read the book and then we all went to the movies to see it together. Then when it got released on VHS I came home one day & my gmom had got it for me and I remember literally crying tears of joy lmao. Later that year tho my gmom (who also raised me) passed away & this movie was really one of the things that kept me going thru it all.. just the full circle moments for all the characters & the experience around the movie in general really did something special for me. To this day it’s still one of my go to movies.. I’m grateful for anyone who had a part in making this amazing movie 🥹♥️

This was so wholesome. Love to see everyone here happy whether they were apart of the film or just a fan of the film everyone was having a good time with a smile on there faces. I remember watching this movie in middle school at the end of the year and going home and watching it many more times after that and now im 25 years old still a huge fan of this movie. This film is legendary in so many levels and has such a great life lesson to it. If you havn't seen it i 110% reccomend ehecking it out, infact i may watch it again. W for everyone, W content. It is a great feeling to see the cast of Holes together. I am so glad most of you have shown up here.
