The ottomans at the end were wanting to change the call to prayer to the turk language and wanted to ban Arabic and bring around shirk & bidah. Yes the Muslims and non Muslims are suffering. But this life isn’t meant to be heaven for the believers, this life is a test. A very difficult test. Some watch their families get bombed by jets, some watch their families leave Islam, some watch their families twist Islam. There’s a lot of fitnah. But we still have the Quran and sunnah.
