It's not the voice man. The kid's feel every word that they're singing, and it's a subject matter that truly is heartbreaking if you can try to look at it from the perspectives they're singing from. They feel it. Dude straight up starts crying and the girl wipes his eyes, in several of their videos. If someone pours the essence of their soul into their art, it's almost impossible not to respect it, even if it's not of a vein of creativity you're accustomed to, as in their vocal ranges.

@andyamaya39445 жыл бұрын
The song is cynical. But it also tells a beautiful a story of those who truly see the world through a mislead view of humanity. Which is why we must accept this view because it offers an existential view that is irreplaceable and shows a path of revolution afterwards to beauty.

Fuckin A you ain't lyin. I gotta cross 2 sets of tracks to get to and from my prison of a job and my prison of a house. Every time I do I just wanna park, wait in the bushes and catch the next one heading north. Some days more than others, but pretty much every day. There's a side rail where they drop/pick up cars and crew change spot right at one of the spots and several good catch out spots right along that area cause the rails turn pretty sharp right before and after the siding. There's also 2 interstates that run through here with multiple on ramps so hitching or hopping it's a great town for it and it shows with how many travellers and dirty kids hang around for the donation only shows, a1 dumpstering (most locals leave it by the dumpster so ya just walk over and pick it up!), a few anarchist spots, squats and hella punk houses to stay at. I crawled off a train here half-dead and dopesick as a mf a few years back to stay with a cousin and sober up and have been trying to do the "responsible" thing. But I honestly don't think it's for me. I have a few responsibilities and commitments here and once those are met my partner and I will probably be riding west for a while. If nothing else I need a break lol Not sure I can do this life til I die. All the downsides of my old life seem small in comparison to this. I've never been more pissed off, convinced that this world has to change or full of dispair as I have been living in this great place. Maybe I'll see ya out there ✊👊✌♥A///E

Lyrics... [Verse 1] My breakfast is straight out the medicine cabinet A remedy for the aftermath of my habits Sometimes it's the ones who try to help That hurt the most I feel like we're playing tug of war and I'm the rope And I'm stretched to the limit But you keep on pulling And I'm gonna lose my goddamn mind, I'm gonna lose my mind [Verse 2] I want to hide away in the back of a cave At the top of a mountain Where no one can hear me and no one can see me So I don't have to deal with them And they don't have to deal with me 'Cause relationships are overrated Maybe I'm just tired and jaded But I'm sorry I just like myself more than I like you [Refrain] So call me anti-social, call it masturbation Either way it's a solo operation I'm just far more comfortable alone [Verse 3] It appears that apathy Has gotten the best of me 'Cause I'm so tired of you talking my ear off About all your problems I just can't fix I don't appreciate this unwanted company And your constant chatter Reminds me why I'd rather you leave me be [Refrain] So call me anti-social, call it masturbation Either way it's a solo operation I'm just far more comfortable alone [Chorus] 'Cause people are ugly and people are hateful Destructive and greedy We're proud and ungrateful The world would be so much better off without us So swallow a bullet Or a handful of pills We're all compost in training And there's graves left to fill Distract ourselves to make us feel like we're not just mistakes Distract ourselves to make us feel like we're not just mistakes [Bridge] It seems that everybody always has a bone to pick A promise to break, never again will I make that mistake Of trusting anyone Trusting anyone Trusting anyone This is my misanthropic confession Human beings are a waste of breath and Don't think I exclude myself I'm an asshole just like you [Chorus] 'Cause people are ugly and people are hateful Destructive and greedy We're proud and ungrateful The world would be so much better off without us So swallow a bullet Or a handful of pills We're all compost in training And there's graves left to fill Distract ourselves to make us feel like we're not just mistakes Distract ourselves to make us feel like we're not just mistakes My breakfast was straight out the medicine cabinet
