Hello thanks so much for this wonderful review. Question: can you still connect a headset with a cable if you want? or since it is wireless that's it? thanks so much, if I buy it I might throw mine against the concrete hard and will let you know what happened :)

Yes, as long as the headset or microphone is self-powered. There are two separate 3.5mm inputs for microphones or line level devices. Please be nice to the Shidu speaker! I only did that because the company sent it to me! 😂

One other issue: It likes to fight you with the volume control over Bluetooth. So, play something at a low volume, adjust the volume and then proceed. It does NOT retain volume control settings, unfortunately. As stated in the video, the voice prompt volume also cannot be controlled. This may have changed with current models, but for the year 2020-2021 model this wasn't the case.

Oh and don't forget to turn it off! I forgot to one time and a voice saying "Low battery, Please charge" came out of nowhere and scared me ! 😀
