@@Justforvisit Well yeah this is like a going back in time while having continuation into the story and an alternate timeline at the same time because of the portal. It's actually genius.

​@@greasy8394 Yes, it appears to be an alternate timeline but it's all weirdly confusing. Mei-oh wasn't really killed in the first game, seems where ever he went when he got sucked into that portal he died there(somewhat confirmed by Onikage's failure to bring him back using the sword), while Rikimaru was sent into the future. By him being in the future, this altered the timeline. His shadow is sent to find out what's going on and to retrieve the sword - the only thing that can bring back the real Rikimaru. Either way, I got to hear him deliver one the greatest lines I've ever heard a protagonist say to a villain: "I'm back, to take you down again, Onikage"

@@Zephal42 So Rikimaru's shadow is like some "clone" of himself? He's literally using the same conscious but in two bodies? I only played this Tenchu so I don't know the whole story. i just kinda put the pieces together. There's plenty of occult symbolism too in this game with Rikimaru's one eye symbolism and even Onikage basically being a demon himself I assume.

My Favorite song, when i listen it i just remember Rickimaru starting the first mission, I really Miss this game and every time when i remember it i just have a smile in my face and i say Dam I spend Good times with this game!

Yeah I love it and miss it too, but you are still able to play the game on your pc all you have to do is to install a PlayStation 2 Emulator (PCSX2) Emulator and a bios system for that and then go to a page called Emuparadise (ISO file games for the PCSX to drive) and you can add a Lillypad console so that you can play games with your mouse involved Look it up on KZbin, it is very simple and trust me you will appreciate it :-)

I love the level design of this stage, basement, crawlspace, and the attic, it what makes tenchu is so iconic. Combining both stealth and maze-like stage, leading to strategic and toughtful gameplay.
