It went over my head at first but the replay ten seconds later literally showed the ref giving Pavlo the all clear, so like wtf???? Just give him the distance then cuz you told him he did enough
@misteral90456 ай бұрын
Like yeah he technically didn't do a full lap, he did 99.99% of a lap. Take the missing inch off, don't take the whole lap.
@magmahawk5836 ай бұрын
@@misteral9045 if the ref never gave a signal then he deserves to not get any of the lap, not just inches off imo-except the ref seemed to give a signal then try to take it back lol
@misteral90456 ай бұрын
@@magmahawk583 But if they're measuring for total distance, then why is the ref needed and why does doing a full lap matter? Some people go more over the line than others, I'm sure that's counted and if it's not then it should be. The line should be there as an arbitrary point because turning with the weight is part of the exercise, and if we didn't want to see them turn then they should be on a circular track or something.

They do all kinds of events. Many are static type. Your preference is not uncommon though, and a frequent discussion amongst strongman enthusiasts. I like 50/50. Things like this shield carry are unorthodox enough to test different types of "strength", imo. But a good old fashioned log press (e.g..) is necessary in the mix.
