As a shield main, I thought I was going to be a powerhouse, only to realize im exposed all the time. I seemed to always be getting killed through my shield immediately.

@@Chaos_945 I was going crazy too I main montage but now I try to play fuze and bandit too bcz of this update but seems like it we just got a whole nerf, what point is there to rework shield if you gonna expose me somewhere right ? think about it, you are in a standoff with an attacker, if you ads and try to shoot you won't be able to bcz they got a better gun and have aim prior, if you backoff you will expose your feet more bcz when moving your operator wiggles his shield just a little bit, if you stand still they are just going to shoot your feet. This is just stupid.

The feet showing with the shields might be something they fix because there’s already enough ways to deal with shield operators like the nitro cell or well placed kapkan traps.

Maybe make it so that slow walking while crouched or standing still while crouched covers it more, but if you start regular crouchwalking, it becomes like the way it is right now. That way shield users can visually check a room without dying quickly, and they can still move forward slowly without exposing themselves.

Shield nerf is completely uneccessary, and there really isn't a point in playing them considering how much the defenders have to stop shields, blind them, kill them, et cetera. Nitro Cells won't have to travel all the way behind shield ops either with that much exposed, unless they plan on nerfing Nitro Cells too. Blitz and Fuze Shield are completely worthless unless you're in silver lobbies or lower.

It should make it slightly taller but atill show toes, so either to shoot the toes or encourage for the surpressive fire mechanic to slow down and to shoot

It shouldn’t even show toes. Use the suppression mechanic and walk around them. Being able to shoot them from the front makes losing hipfire nothing but a massive nerf. If you’re going to keep the ability to shoot a shield in the front, give me my ability to fight back back.

В этом и был смысл щитов, защищать. А не делать так чтоб тебя в любом положении щита можно было убить, тоже самое касается и Монти когда у него нога открывается при ударе по раскрытому щиту, но это еще более менее терпимо.

They're way too easy to deal with, I find fighting against shields to be boring because it's a free kill. I think shields should be bigger and cover the entire body, maybe then they might be a challenge to deal with.
