I have a Ballad and I use it all the time! Small pad for cutting; main pad for sewing (needle down) and heel for reverse.

My bq3100 didn’t come with it, just got it two months ago

The Brother BQ3100 comes with a lot of extra feet and the quilt guides for the Digital Dual Feed. The Baby Lock Chorus actually does come with the multi-function foot controller now.

Does it over ride what you have set on your machine? I have the Presto 2. I have the forward back as I start and same for end, tie and cut already set. I sure would like the presser foot up though…..

Your machine uses a different multi function foot controller, but there is one available. It only allows one option for the heel kick on the Presto II if I remember correctly

oh please jan, just to confirm i can use this dual function foot controller for my new just purchased bq1350 (which used to be nq1300PRW i believe)? I want to make sure before i make the big purchase :)

You can't use this double pedaled model, it's for the larger machines. But they make a single pedal multi function foot controller for the BQ1350

dang i think i just read for my model it only functions as needle up/down. i was hoping for reverse stitch or thread cutting bummer

You have 4 options. Cut, needle up/down, reverse stitch, and single stitch.

@@sewalongwithjan oh so the 4 options will work on the single pedal for the bq1350 or just the needle up/down function? I thought the 4 options were only for bigger machines with the double pedal?

@Fattiapples all 4 work on your machine but not the other machines in that series.

This is a great video! I wasn’t able to watch it live, but I’m sure glad a was able to see it now. I traded in my pathfinder & presto 2 for a slightly used Dream machine 2 ( which I really love!) My dream machine came with the dual foot. Thanks to you, I now know how to use it. Do you have anymore videos on how to use the Dream Machine 2? Thank again, 💕
