One of the most scary moments of my life was getting lost atop a mountain in the middle of a snow storm. I took a few steps away from the cabin, and everything had become white, and nothing but white. Visibility barely a meter in front of me, wind howling, complete isolation, all the steps i had taken behind me, gone. The only reason i managed to make my way back was sheer dumb luck, tripping on a cable that had been laid on the ground from the cabin, on which a former fence had been strung on. I first went the wrong way, found a pole, then made my way back and found the cabin. By the time i was back in, i was already so cold my face had icicles. Snow storms are fraked events to be in. I've done some really bad things in my youth, disregarded common sense many times, broke a few bones, got in some bad ends, but that one time... i genuinely though i'd bought the ticket. :))

❤ have we all. I was just like Shiey when i was young. Checking out old buildings and factories. Most scary part when we went into a abandoned apartment building car garage. It was 4 levels. On the roof level there was a old swimming pool. We went into the change rooms and heard a girl screaming far in the distance. We freaked out and ran like little wussies. We didn’t have a flash light. Smart eh? We did bring BB guns and pellet guns.

To give you all some more context to the facility shown in this video: The antennas where part of the world wide "ACE-High". It was a communication network used by NATO countries such as Norway, Danmark, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Greece and Turkey from the 1950s to the 1990s. The antennas where scatters. It means that they send a signal to the troposphere, reflect it from there and get it to the actual destination. This technology was the safest way of communication because the signal didn't go in a straight way, nor it was receivable for spy sattelites. The antenna in this video is the Dosso dei Galli antenna in Italy. It was connected to a similar station in Feldberg in Germany. The coordiantes are 45° 52' 13,7'' N, 10° 22' 32,3'' O. Although it seems like Shiey is a bit flagrant with care in the mountains, he is actually well experienced and is pretty prepared from a gear standpoint. an unbelievably good content producer. an anarchist who cares more about his audience than possible advertising revenue

I just got back from USMC boot camp in parris island. I missed these videos man. The content and the movement you’re creating kinda speaks to me different now. I feel more wise.

There's nothing that gets me as excited as a new shiey upload

It must be really fun and rewarding researching these places and then getting to see them up close.

I feel suicidal some days and after watching a Shiey video, I always feel warmth and comfort. Exploring is what helps the mind the most.

the part where you're going through the snowstorm looks straight out of a movie. keep it up shiey

I've never claimed a snowy mountain but I have had my fair share of -40°c abandon snow adventures in Saskatchewan Canada! Always a thrill when you can die if you don't get to your location! Gotta love that shelter!

Bah, Saskatchewan is mild compared to Northern BC 😂😊

Shiey I wrote you into my college essay. I love your stuff so much and it really gives a great perspective when you push those limits. Waiting on decisions

You woke up with a headache probably because of altitude. You guys are high up in the mountains and body needs to adjust. Great video and keep them coming ✌🏼

Watching shiey searching for shelter at night at anything less than 720p feels like seeing found footage

The sign in 0:30 says "stop! danger of landslides". The refuge is open now, I see on Google Maps. I think they close the road in winter because of snow, but not sure about the motivation.
