I speak Polish & German - I can understand a lot of Yiddish.

I'm a Yiddish speaker and currently learning German. It's very interesting. I know most words. You see the rope that this dude is wearing around his waist? That's called a "גארטל" or "gar-tel" which clearly comes from the German word for belt "Gürtel" Interesting part is that a belt in Yiddish is called a completely different word.

It knows the whole Shulchan Oruch, The Babylonian Talmud, The Jerselamite Talmud, Nigleh and Nistar (the known and the hidden - referring to Kaballah) and all the Poskim (Jewish law responsa books), and Rishonim and Achronim (early and late commentators on the Talmud). Wow! This is an important rabbinical parrot. Wow wow wow - an extremely special parrot. OK. He continues down the store, and there are three big guys with guns. And what's that one over there? Hey!! Hands off! Keep away! That one costs one million dollars. What could a parrot cost one million dollars for?
