A very easy-to-understand video which pinpointed the trouble I was having and why I couldn't get connected to the ShiftCam, so thank you very much.

i just got mine today.. and as much as I DO "like" it, I'm feeling the same way you do... the stand did the exact and thing as yours... was very tough to loosen, but once you did/ do, it just becomes VERY loose and you have to GORILLA FIST tighten it for the ball joint to stay stationary... btw... how do you turn this thing off?

My bluetooth gives volume and not a click...what do I wrong?

Make sure you have the camera app opened. The only time the volume is changed is when you're not in the camera app. Thanks for watching! 😊

I love the grip but hate the snap pod. It’s totally useless in it’s current state because it’s so loose even when tightened as much as possible. But I found if you wrap white plumber’s tape around the screw threads it helps to tighten it up quite a bit more. It still isn’t perfect but it’s better than it was. Having said that, I don’t shoot video and probably would only use it as a table top tripod in a low light situation. For that I can live with it.

I agree, but there are better table top tripod options out there as well. The Snap Pod is easily the most disappointing thing about this package. Thanks for watching! 😀

I’m getting rid of the legs but the snap pod stick is great with the 3/8th adapter for my traditional tripod

Thanks for down to earth honest review. I just purchased one for Samsung Galaxy S20. Some of the issues such as letting the sticky magnet disk set before using are very helpful. I am sorry tht you didn't like it as much as you thought it was going to be a very good product. I hope that I like mine. Cheers and a BIG thumbs up for the review.

Hi, Kym! Thanks for the thumbs up! I just didn't think the Snap Grip offered enough functionality for the price. If they could find a way to include autofocus and/or zoom that would be awesome! Happy holidays, and please subscribe! 😊

My opinion after several months of use is pretty much the same 1. The material looks like cheap plastic but the porch is unique and nice. 2. The connection is not so strong. The shutter button becomes a sound increase sometimes. 3. There is no lock on the ball head at the base of the Tri pod so it cannot stand upright when the phone is heavy. Also, it's hard to get the position you want to take a selfie. Even so, I like the product and I will buy a Freewell Grip to compare this grip in the future.

This looks like an apple product. It even has its own ecosystem. But just like apple they charge for basic function. Light, pod, cold shoe, all extra. Even it's video is lifestyle product. Get a Ulanzi or Kiwifotos grip for $20. No frills with all the basics.

Aside from my issue with the mini tripod, it is built quite well. I was really impressed with the light attachment!
