Saw another guy doo this in his Lexus and I couldn't believe the results. Now I am seeing it work on damn near all the cars that people do it to.

Ive done leatherique treatments on my vehicles for years and never thought about using a foam applicator. Each time ive just applied it the way you showed as well with a glove and my hands massaging into every nook and cranny. Also, I'll be stealing that plastic wrap trick!! Thanks!! Great video!!

Right, I feel like just using your hands works really well. Glad I give you that helpful tip with the plastic wrap, it definitely can make things easier when you are working with this stuff.

That full leather interior is just so nice! Mine was with double glazing but would have loved the full leather and Alcantara headliner, just gorgeous, especially after your treatment

leatherique is the truth, done it on all my older bmw cars.

@@ShiftedPerspective The rest of the car is beautiful, too, of course. Chiaretto is my favorite E39 M5 color, but very rare, and Anthracite is a very close second. Incredible work!

Polishangel has a similar system (Charisma and Bella Clean) where you massage in the Charisma cleaner/rejuvenator first and let it work a while (I leave it on overnight) and then you use their Bella Clean afterwards to remove it leaving a fresh clean leather finish. The Polishangel system smells absolutely amazing and is one of the best smelling (like fresh orange oil) products on the market today for cleaning the leather. Most of the Polishangel interior products have the same incredible scent that is one of my favorite scents for an interior product line. I really like the Polishangel system but it's pricey, but then again, so is the Leatherique system. I have always wondered if Leatherique makes the Polishangel system for them and they rebrand it as their own or if they actually manufacture their own leather cleaning products? They are very similar in application and use.

Will this product work on plastic coated leather bmw 2004?

I was expecting to see you use colourlock. Have you ever tried it? I need to order some leather care products on a new to me car with white leather inserts. Also thanks for mentioning vortex detail in a past video I was looking for window tint places, i’m taking my car to them this week!
@ShiftedPerspective Жыл бұрын
I haven't used Colourlock because I need more of a restoration and this felt like a better option. Glad to link you up with Tyler, great guy!

Colorlock is ok, leatherique is king.

This might be a kinda weird question, but what does the interior of this car or any of your cars smell like? Do you go for a true new car scent, or prefer a synthetic scent?
@whitegoodman7465 Жыл бұрын
A properly clean car will smell clean, not scented.

4:48 No, not a crack, that's just stretch marks in the leather. For this dash, when it starts to split, the leather will start to pull taut around the defroster vents as the leather shrinks. Ask me how I know...
@ShiftedPerspective Жыл бұрын
I was hoping it was just minor stretching, thanks!

You make good videos, but the audio ruins it. You should check into a cordless microphone.
