A number of factors contribute to the problem, but mismanagement of resources is one of the most significant. It is only a small percentage of the lake that was polluted by the 2014 floods. By implementing proper management strategies and involving the community, the lake can be revived. My opinion is that the authorities are playing a blame game to avoid taking responsibility for the lake's abysmal condition.
