*To people who think that this run is cheating:* These are well-documented glitches that exist in all versions of the game (you have to do the zips differently on console due to the lower framerate, and the AI glitch at the top of the tower crashes the game on certain versions, but the principle of everything is the same). Glitches are allowed in the category that I am running, the rules for which were defined and agreed upon by the Arkham speedrunning community. Bro you didn't play the game did you?Bruce took blood from Rasa ghul and injected it inside himself so he wouldn't die it would temporarily heal him as it contains lazarus But he drank some of the real Cure that Freeze made cause the lazarus can have side effects. It’s crazy because that’s still way longer that it took for Batman to succumb to it. Like Joker had it for a good 6-12 months before finally succumbing to its effects

@@deathmachine726 there is a theory out there that Batman had a bad blood transfusion. His and Jokers blood isn’t compatible. It can kill someone in hours if untreated. That’s why Batman is dying a lot quicker than the joker. After he gets the blood of the demon the blood transfusion is cured and that’s why we don’t see him have symptoms for the rest of the game.

I love imagining during speedruns that the character in question, in this case Batman, is very purposefully going at lighting speed. Like he is cutting off his conversations with Alfred or Hugo Strange, or ignoring Catwoman being held hostage because he's some omnipresent being that knows everything will be solved by the next game.

I definitely lost health during Clayface, you take damage on purpose there, and it's basically impossible to not get hit while going for the phase skip at the end. The glitches may look easy, but it takes a fair amount of practice to get good at them, and even then doing them fast is not easy. In particular, the jump onto the dumpster near the beginning, and getting the zip into the elevator first try are both quite difficult.

@@d.e.564 Enemies only dodge projectiles when they can see you. Snipers long sight lines are balanced by a smaller viewing cone. In the game reality, they're looking down a scope. Therefore, the first 4 guys he takes down don't see him. The smokebomb also resets enemies seeing you, which allows them to be grappled again even though you've already been spotted.

This is a NG+ file that has Batclaw Disarm already unlocked. He's pulling the sniper rifles out of their hands and off the building. You can't pull enemies off ledges... in this game. In Arkham Origins you can. They removed that ability in Knight because it allowed you to straight up murder people.

Zips behave differently on console so you'll have to it a different way (here's the console WR for reference, it's on Xbox 360 but it works the same as that on remaster www.speedrun.com/arkhamcity/run/y2v7pw5z ), the skip itself does indeed work though. Oh and you'll have to go up through the top of the tower normally instead of what I do (which means the predator thugs will be active), if you do that on the remaster the game seems to crash at some point before entering the theatre. Lastly, the game will technically be softlocked during the 4th Catwoman segment because you're stuck with that on the remaster. If you care about that then wait until after you finish the Museum to do the big skip,
