Shikha Swaroop was a very popular face in almost all the magazines in the late 80s & sarly 90s. She did many ad campaigns in print media & as colour television was new at that time she had some good adverising contracts on television too, promoting some very good FMCG brands. Did not know that apart from beauty pegeants she was a sportsperson too, with very good command in shooting & badminton. Previously, in India, models did not have much of a career, the ultimate destination for a woman model was movies & Shikha too got her break into movies after becoming a super model. She did many movies but none of them could be categorized as hit movies. She got a good break in Chandrakanta which made hervsurvivenin the industry for a couple of more years. Had there been OTT platforms as we have now, then Shikha could have still continued on television. Glad to hear that she is living a happy family life & is looking after her own business. Its the year 2024 & today if she gets to convince a director to cast her she can definitely come back on onebof tge OTT platforms. Success is just one web series away Wishing her the very best for the future
