The whole When They Cry series is full of amazing songs. Dai and Zts make some incredible background music as well as the former having their incredible record in vocal themes as well. Kenji Kawai, famous for the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack, lends his talents to songs like the Higurashi Main Theme (note, that's the song titled "Main Theme", not the op). Akiko Shikata is a criminally underrated composer, and her work on Umineko speaks for itself. Eiko Shimamiya has her own moments of glory in Higurashi as well. Overall, it's a vast collaboration of incredibly talented artists creating an unforgettable soundtrack.

Yes, this song definitely about Virgilia and Beatrice. The way of Beatrice here to be acknowledged by Virgilia and show her some truth of the game: only she chooses who win or who lose. Virgilia plays here as passive listener, but we can know what she thinks in her song "mugen no majo". I love that voice, it's so calm. . . . then a bit louder, but it's not like really screaming! And the music is really beautifull.I really loved Higurashi and Umineko. Though i am probably the only one who loves anime, because my friends and other people would think it's weird :/

I like hiragushi and umineko, too. I am interested in anime first, but I have wait for Umineko Anime for more than 4 four years, so sad that it doesn't come out... Pamela Chan Umineko does have an anime adaptation but its rather lackluster. When people say Umineko sucks they are talking about the anime, not the visual novel.

EP8) , u see lots of ppl are blaming chiru (ep5-8) did not give the only truth on what happen on Island Rokkenjima and they won't accept the explanation on EP7&8. For me, I accept it. KnotApps Hope that you won't be one of them. It actually explain most of the puzzles, but plz don't expect Chiru is going to solve everything in front of you. u still have to rethink and get them. I really hope EP8 u can accept the story and choose a good ending for Ange. ;(

If Chiru(EP5-EP8) did a great job, Studio Deen would definitely willing to bear the risk and finish it. Damn...after finishing EP8, I love Umineko so much.

Even though it's obvious that this isn't Virgillia's voice, I think this voice would suit her better than the one she has. It sounds calm and gentle, yet incredibly badass at the same time. Her current seiyuu unfortunately lacks the badass part a bit too much. *Red* 'Lia deserves more love!

You could always check out ayakura mei's other performances that are so underground I highly doubt you'll ever get copyright struck. A good example of one would be yubisashinosaki, the only version of this song existing on youtube is the youtube generated "topic" and it only has 330 views (I'm probably most of them lol)
