I was there on the Saturday, and I ran some of my models for the first time. They were my Great Central 9N 4-6-2T and my North Eastern M1 4-4-0, and they were on the Billingate layout for about 30-40 minutes. No clue if anyone but me captured them on film.

Thanks for joining us on the Saturday, Josh! I don't think I got any recordings of your models but you might ask @blockjunction2230, @edtheshed23 and @technoandrew, who were also running stock on Billingate.

Gutted I didn't catch the HST in action! All of the layouts were incredible, especially the main northern layout with that amazing bridge and impressive station! I'd love to build my own train MOCs but really don't know where to begin with it all haha! 😅

Thanks! Sorry you missed the HST... we'll be running it at Thirsk Brick show on 8/2/2025, check out the LUKR Facebook page for this and other upcoming shows (facebook.com/lukrailway). Train MOCs are very satisfying (and, infuriating, at times). Like many, I began by modifying existing sets (try motorising the Orient Express?), and there are instructions available online (free and low cost): open-l-gauge.eu/ , blockjunction.co.uk/ Build, re-build/tweak, and have fun!

@@bowensbricks Oh no it's all good, I was heavily distracted haha. I'm gonna try and get to the Thirsk show but not sure I can get there unfortunately. Yeah, I do plan on buying the Orient Express at some point but it is quite expensive haha, but yeah, I'll try and source some train models to get a good understanding of the construction and go from there! Thanks! :D

I have just seen your Blyth and Tyne video and thus the link. I never knew that models to this level can be created to this level. Quite frankly, I an astonished at how realistic they are and as to how well they operates. I have now just seen the High Level bridge. This is pure magic.

Thank you! I was amazed at what can be created when I began about 4 years ago. My fellow members of Lego UK Railway have made some stunning creations, and there is more to come in 2025! Check out the club's website (www.lukrailway.co.uk/) where you'll also find links to LUKR on KZbin, Facebook, and Instagram where you can see lots more Lego trains!

Is there anyway to get a closer video of the sterling single in the future? We love it!
@bowensbricksАй бұрын
Yes, I can see it's quite hard to see when it whizzes by. We're at another show this Sunday (btmrs.co.uk/exhibitions/ ) so, I'll try to get some closer videos. There's also more images on our Instagram channel: instagram.com/bowensbricks/
