Honestly the only explanation for why they decided to make lore is that over time I guess there video will be the same format over again where they are up against an imposter or an enemy team and have a dance party at the end. So over time this will feel repetitive for the channel like yes they will still get views like they usually do but they really want to spice things up and add some lore because those type of things are a way to make new videos feel hype and have this lore in the background that will probably lead to something epic in the future.
